WARDOGS Fastest Leveling (Every Class)
The fastest way to level in WARDOGS is to farm the action a class rewards instead of chasing kills. Each class has one repeatable farm that pays XP whether or not you win the fight: Recon spots with binoculars, Support builds at a FOB, Medic revives with a defibrillator, Driver runs supplies, and Pilot ferries players into the Hot Zone. Carry binoculars on every infantry loadout so you level Recon in the background, and finish each match on the faction you started with so you keep the end-of-match bonus.
A "class" here is one of the six progression trees you level separately: Assault, Medic, Support, Recon, Driver and Pilot. Reaching the level cap in one can take dozens of hours, so the goal is to earn XP from something you were going to do anyway, every single life.
Carry binoculars on every kit
Binoculars level a class you are not even playing. Spot an enemy, and if anyone on your team kills them you earn Recon XP and cash for the assist. Keep them in your specialist slot on every infantry loadout, so you farm Recon while you play Assault, Medic or Support, at no extra cost. Marking helicopters is the strongest version: spot one before your team's anti-air brings it down and you collect a share of the XP and money from everyone who was aboard.
Recon levels fastest, and it barely needs aim
Recon is the quickest tree to push because it rewards positioning over aim. Buy binoculars and spot your way to recon level 5, which unlocks the SKS, the first marksman rifle worth carrying. Skip the starting scout rifle: it cannot reliably kill an armoured player and it only slows you down. After the SKS, keep spotting while you shoot, so the marksman rifle and the binoculars both feed Recon at once. The Mosin-Nagant opens up around level 10 for a one-shot bolt-action, though the SKS keeps leveling faster because it gets more kills.
Support: the most XP per minute in the game
Support gains XP faster than any other class, and it does it away from the front line. Bring a forward operating base kit, a deployable base that costs $7,500, plant it, and build with the hammer inside. Every wall, gate, turret and sandbag pays Support XP. Unlock the large hammer at support level 8 to build faster, which is more XP for the same time. The best single farm is the anti-aircraft missile launcher, which prints XP and money by shooting down enemy helicopters. Support also levels from destroying high-value targets, so a cheap explosive that kills an enemy spawn vehicle is a big one-off payout.
Medic: revive, heal, then snipe revives with a defib
Medic levels from keeping other players alive, not yourself. Bring the free resuscitator every life, revive downed teammates, then heal them with your own bandages, because helping others pays XP and cash while healing yourself pays nothing. The jump comes at the defibrillator around medic level 11: it revives faster than bare hands, so you reach a downed player and take the revive before another medic can. For a steadier farm, drive the healing APC near the Hot Zone, drop its smoke, and revive under cover.
Driver and Pilot: one supply run levels two classes
The most efficient leveling in the game is a single supply run that pays both Driver and Support. Unlock the U-Haul supply truck at driver level 3, open the map to read the FOB's supply bars, load whatever is low, and drive it out. Unloading the truck pays Driver XP and money; depositing those supplies into the FOB pays Support XP. One trip, two trees. Pilot works the same way through the air: ferry players from base to the combat zone, and drop them inside the Hot Zone for double XP and money. If you only care about Pilot XP, fly for the losing team, because a team that keeps dying keeps needing rides. Practise in the firing range first, since a crash costs you the whole helicopter.
Assault is the slow one, so live in the Hot Zone
Assault has no side farm. Its XP comes from kills and assists with an assault rifle or pistol, so leveling speed is really about how much you fight and how long you survive. The AK-74 at assault level 3 is the first real step up from the free starter rifles, and the Galil around level 10 is the payoff weapon. Fight along the routes into the Hot Zone where kills come thick, stay close enough to teammates to get revived, and keep binoculars on so even a quiet Assault match still feeds your Recon level.
Fastest XP method by class
| Class | Fastest farm | First key unlock |
|---|---|---|
| Recon | Spot enemies with binoculars | SKS (level 5) |
| Support | Build at a FOB; run anti-air | Large hammer (level 8) |
| Medic | Revive and heal teammates | Defibrillator (~level 11) |
| Driver | Run supplies to the FOB | U-Haul truck (level 3) |
| Pilot | Ferry players into the Hot Zone | Bigger transport heli |
| Assault | Kills near the Hot Zone | AK-74 (level 3) |
Finish every match on the faction you started with, because switching teams can void the end-of-match bonus and set your whole session back. And do not grind Recon with the scout rifle. Spot with binoculars until the SKS unlocks at level 5, then start shooting.
