WARDOGS Medic Leveling (Fastest XP)
Medic levels from keeping other players alive, never yourself. Bring the free resuscitator every life, revive downed teammates, then heal them with your own bandages, because helping others pays XP and cash while healing yourself pays nothing. The class takes off at the defibrillator around medic level 11: it revives faster than bare hands, so you reach the body first and take the revive before anyone else. To power-level cheaply, run the starter SMG and rack up revives until you have the defib.
How Medic XP actually works
You are paid for what you do to teammates, not for surviving. A revive and a heal on someone else both give XP and cash; the same items used on yourself give nothing. So the loop is simple: keep bandages on you, revive whoever goes down near you, and top them up afterwards. Play near your team, not out on solo flanks, so there is always someone to pick up.
Rush the defibrillator at level 11
The defib is the single biggest jump for the class. It revives far faster than the hand animation, which lets you snipe revives: get to a downed player before another medic and the credit is yours. It also opens the best cash trick in the game. Defib someone, then immediately heal them with a bandage, and the two actions together pay over two thousand dollars, more if you keep topping them up. To reach level 11 without spending much, run the free starter SMG and focus on reviving rather than fighting.
The medic unlock ladder
| Level | Unlock | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | Smoke grenades | Cover for reviving in the open. Use the white smoke; coloured smoke marks you. Worth reaching even if you never main Medic. |
| ~9 | Individual first aid kit | Full heal from zero in one use. Every class wants this. |
| 11 | Defibrillator | Fast revives and the defib-then-heal money combo. The unlock to rush. |
| 14 | Adrenaline pen | A minute or two of extra sprint speed. Underrated escape and rotation tool. |
| 24 | Medical bag | Sustained team healing for a real support medic. |
On weapons, the starter SMG is good enough to carry you to the defib. The PP-19 comes early for more punch, and the standout is the Super 45 at level 35, a near-zero-recoil SMG that many players call the best gun in the game.
The fastest farm: the APC healing van
Once the healing APC is available, drive it near the Hot Zone where your team fights and dies. Drop its smoke, revive teammates under the cover, and heal them for a steady stream of XP and cash. Spin the vehicle to make the smoke cloud bigger. It works best when your team is winning and staying near the zone, so pair it with an organised group that stays alive long enough to be worth healing.
Always heal a teammate after you revive them, because the follow-up heal pays again. And loot a downed player's own resuscitator and use it on them: it saves you the slow hand-revive and still pays you.
