WARDOGS: How to Make Money Fast
You make money fastest in WARDOGS by playing the objective and support, not by chasing kills. The game pays you for reviving, healing, spotting, building, and destroying vehicles, and everything pays double inside the Hot Zone. The biggest earners players report are medics on revives, FOB mortar crews, and anyone blowing up enemy vehicles. Keep your loadout cheap so one death never wipes your bank.
Cash carries between matches, so a good earning habit compounds. This is where it comes from and how to snowball it from nothing.
The best ways to make money
Every one of these pays more than hunting kills, and every one pays double in the Hot Zone.
| Method | Why it earns |
|---|---|
| Medic on revives | Steady cash per revive, more with a defibrillator. Follow the Hot Zone and keep the team up. |
| FOB mortars | Big payouts destroying vehicles and helicopters when a recon spotter feeds you targets. |
| Destroy vehicles | A loaded enemy vehicle is a large single payout. An IED on a spawn vehicle is one of the best returns in the game. |
| Spotting | The cheapest start. Binoculars pay you whenever a spotted enemy dies, whoever kills them. |
| Helicopter ferrying | Cash for every teammate you drop near the fight, plus a cut of what they do next. |
Creator-reported payouts
These figures come from creator footage, so treat them as a ballpark, not gospel.
| Action | Reported payout |
|---|---|
| Revive | ~$800, or ~$1,200 with a defibrillator |
| Bandage heal | ~$400 |
| Spot (enemy then dies) | ~$800 |
| IED on a spawn vehicle | ~$15,000 |
| IED on an enemy FOB | ~$2,500 |
| Helicopter ferry | ~$165 per teammate |
| Team-kill or crash a heli | −$1,500 |
WARDOGS is in Early Access and a day-one patch already moved prices and levels. The payouts above are player-reported and unofficial, so use them to compare methods, not as exact values.
Start from zero: your first few thousand
You do not need to spend to start earning. On your spawn loadout you can already hold the zone, spot enemies, revive with the free resuscitator, and run supplies to a FOB. Bank that, buy a cheap medic or support kit, and snowball from there. Support work is how you make money without winning a single gunfight.
The real mistake: over-buying
The fastest way to stay poor is dying with an expensive kit before it earns itself back. Cash you spend and lose is gone, so keep loadouts cheap until you can afford to lose them. Before you buy, run the kit through the calculator to see how many lives it needs to break even.
