WARDOGS Weapon Tier List

Updated 10 Sep 2026 · Early Access
The short answer

The strongest WARDOGS weapons in the Early-Access meta are SMGs, led by the PP-19 Vityaz: easy recoil and good hit registration out to roughly 100 m. Assault rifles feel rough until the Galil, and every sniper decision comes back to the helmet, which blocks the one-shot headshot. Run a vertical foregrip, because most of the recoil in this game is vertical.

This ranks the weapons you can realistically reach in the first days of Early Access. Weapon names and their unlock class come straight from the game. Where a weapon sits is judgement, and it will shift as the meta settles, so the date at the top matters.

S Best in slot
PP-19 VityazMedic (SMG)

Low recoil and reliable out to about 100 m. The safest early pick while you level up.

A Strong
Galil weapon render
GalilAssault (AR)

The assault rifle worth grinding for. Controllable where the early rifles are not.

Mosin-NagantRecon (sniper)

Bolt-action that one-shots most heads. Strong once you accept the slow rate of fire.

B Solid
SKSRecon (marksman)

Near-zero recoil on its bipod when prone or on a ledge. The bipod only fits the SKS.

AK-74 weapon render
AK-74Assault (AR)

A solid unlock and a cheap way to survive early. Vertical recoil is the catch.

A-91 weapon render
A-91Assault (AR)

Bullpup with a wide attachment pool, so you can tune it for recoil control.

T-21Assault (AR)

Serviceable starter rifle. Fine until the Galil, then you retire it.

C Situational
M249 SAWSupport (LMG)

Suppression, not duelling. It earns its keep on a bipod holding a lane.

D Starter / avoid
Scout Rifle TDRecon (sniper)

The starter sniper. It cannot one-shot a level-1 helmet, so level past it fast.

Attachments that actually matter

Two stats decide most of your recoil, and they are not the same thing. Recoil is the kick you fight while firing; sway is the slow drift when you hold your aim. Buying sway reduction will not calm your recoil.

  • Put a vertical foregrip on almost anything. Vertical kick is the real problem here; the sideways swing stays mild.
  • On the muzzle, look for strong horizontal recoil reduction. The muzzle only unlocks on the class you are leveling.
  • A bipod gives snipers and marksman rifles almost no recoil, but only when you are prone or resting on a ledge.
