WARDOGS Cash & Economy

Updated 10 Sep 2026 · Early Access
The short answer

Cash in WARDOGS is the resource that decides your loadout every life, and it carries over between matches. You start with $10,000, spend it at the base vendor each time you spawn, and only keep what you do not spend. You earn it from almost everything: holding zones, kills, revives, repairs, supplying FOBs, and spotting.

Because your balance follows you from match to match, good money habits compound. Bank cash early and you can field better gear later. Throw it away on kits you keep losing and you spend the next few games broke.

How much cash do you start with?

Every player starts with $10,000 and grows it by playing. There is no per-match reset, so the money you save now pays for better loadouts later.

How the balance works

Two numbers sit at the top right of your screen. The one on the right is your total balance. The one on the left is your balance for this life, which drops below zero the moment you buy a loadout and climbs back as you earn.

You do not carry out cash you already spent. Your result for a match is what you earned minus what you spent:

  • Go in with $100,000, earn $50,000, spend $30,000, and you leave with $120,000.
  • Go in with $100,000, earn $30,000, spend $50,000, and you leave with $80,000.

That is why dying early on an expensive kit stings. If you die before you earn back what the loadout cost, that spend is a straight loss.

How do you earn cash fast?

Almost every useful action pays:

  • Holding the control zone, with the Hot Zone paying extra.
  • Kills, assists, and spotting enemies.
  • Healing and reviving teammates, and repairing vehicles.
  • Delivering supplies to FOBs and driving players around.
  • Building your own emplacements, or destroying the enemy's.

Since support work pays, a match where you never fire your rifle can still be one of your best earners. You can also tip a teammate for a heal, a repair or a ride, and put a bounty on your own revive when you are down and nobody is coming.

What do you spend it on?

Your loadout: weapons, mags, ammo, attachments, body armor, healing, supplies, grenades, and equipment, plus any vehicle or helicopter you take out. Items are gated by level. When you reach the required level you pay one large fee to unlock the item, and after that it costs its normal price in any loadout.

Note

The game does not publish the exact cash you earn per action, so this guide does not list per-action dollar figures rather than guess at them. A possible investments system was mentioned by early creators but is not confirmed, so it is left out until it is.
