WARDOGS Best Galil Build & Attachments (2026)

Updated 25 Sep 2026 · Early Access
The short answer

The best Galil build in WARDOGS is the rifle at Assault level 10 for $2,200 with an RK6 vertical grip for the climb, a Hexagon Brake for the side-to-side drift, a Compact T-2 red dot and the free 35-round magazine. The whole kit costs about $3,330. Swap to armour-piercing rounds once level 3 and 4 armour shows up, because armour decides more Galil fights than any attachment.

Galil, WARDOGS assault rifle

The Galil is the rifle most players grind the Assault tree for. It fires 5.56 at 650 rounds per minute and hits for 28 per chest shot, and it comes with a 35-round magazine at no extra unlock cost. The build below spends on the two recoil fixes first and keeps the optic cheap, so you can rebuy the whole kit after a bad life. Stats are from the game's vendor and weapon data and can move with patches.

Upgrades once you have the cash

If you fight past about 100 m, swap the red dot for the Tricon 1.5x Compact Prism Scope ($650, Assault 12) or the CQ-2x Prism Combat Scope ($640, Assault 17). Both add range clarity; the Tricon costs you a little aim-in speed. For the grip, the TDG Vertical Foregrip ($1,000, Career 58) is the strongest vertical control in the game, and the RC-556 Suppressor ($1,550, Assault 29) keeps you off the minimap while trimming vertical recoil, at a moderate aim-in penalty. Price the upgraded kit against your income before you run it every life.

Galil vs AK-74: which should you run?

On paper they are closer than their reputations. Both fire at 650 rounds per minute and both kill in the same time at every armour level. The Galil hits for 28 against the AK's 26 and carries a 35-round mag, while the AK is lighter (3 against 3.95), has a longer listed range (500 against 400) and costs $600 less. Players upgrade to the Galil because it feels easier to hold on target, not because it kills faster.

Keep the AK if you are still broke after most deaths: it is the cheaper rifle to rebuy, and it gives nothing away in time-to-kill. Take the Galil once the $600 no longer hurts. The full AK setup is on the AK-74 build page.

The jump from level 2 to level 3 armour is the one you feel: kills take 40% longer. That is the point to switch to armour-piercing, and the reason the zones and tiers in the damage and armour guide matter more than your optic.
