WARDOGS Ghillie Bow Build: Silent Recon Kit
The WARDOGS Ghillie bow build is the Compound Bow ($800, Recon level 17) with 30 to 40 Broadhead Arrows, the Ghillie Body Suit and Ghillie Headwear (Recon level 24), a cheap GGX pistol and binoculars. It costs about $7,175 a life. The bow is silent, one-shots anyone in level 1 armour or less, and has no damage drop-off. The suit gives no armour but hides you from kill-cams, so you can hold one bush for a long streak on dense maps.
This is a Recon build (the sniper and spotter class) for players who would rather stay unseen than trade shots. An arrow is silent, and the enemy you drop gets no kill-cam pointing back at you. Creators running it report streaks of 14 to 20 kills from a single bush. The price of that is zero armour, so the whole build is about never being found.

Total with 40 arrows: about $7,175. The GGX-18 ($800, level 70) swaps in as a full-auto sidearm at 1,200 rounds a minute if you want a real answer to a close rush. The Range Finder ($400) is worth the slot on open maps, where you need exact distances for longer arrow shots.

The bow takes no attachments and the arrow loses no damage over distance, but the listed range is only 100, far shorter than any rifle. Early in a season, when most of the lobby runs level 1 or 2 armour, nearly every hit is a kill. That is why creators called it the best weapon of launch week. Once players reach level 3 armour at Wardog level 60, you need two clean hits, and the second one gives your position away.
How to play the Ghillie bow
- Pick one bush and stay. Moving is what gets a Ghillie spotted. Set up on the route between the Hot Zone (the drifting double-points ring) and an enemy FOB, where targets walk past you.
- Take the unaware target. A player who is already shooting at someone else will not look for you. Save the second arrow for level 3 and 4 targets.
- Spot between shots. Binoculars keep Recon XP and cash coming while you wait, and marked enemies help your squad.
- Loot armour when the lobby hardens. Later in a match, take a level 3 vest and helmet off a downed enemy. You lose the suit's concealment, so do it only once staying hidden has stopped paying.
With no armour, a Ghillie who gets seen dies to the first burst. On open ground there is no bush to hold and the bow's short range forces you close. Bring a rifle loadout for those maps instead, and take a second-floor drop carefully: with heavy gear, the fall damage is real.
Is the Ghillie bow build worth it?
Yes, if you already have Recon 24 and play dense maps. The kit is cheap next to a full sniper setup like the MK22, which runs $20,000 or more a life with its suppressor. Losing $7,175 hurts less, and a streak pays it back fast. Skip it while you are still levelling Recon: the bow alone at level 17 works, but without the suit you are a sniper with no armour and a short-range weapon.
