WARDOGS Super FOB Strategy

Updated 10 Sep 2026 · Early Access
The short answer

The Super FOB is a WARDOGS strategy where you build a heavily fortified FOB in an open field at the edge of the control circle, then place several spaced-out drills to drag the Hot Zone onto your own base. It wins games against disorganized lobbies. It is not unbeatable: enemy artillery and coordinated attack helicopters break it.

Most of the fight in WARDOGS is a scramble to reach the objective. The Super FOB flips that. Instead of chasing the Hot Zone, you bring it home and defend it.

How the Super FOB works

Pick an open field right at the edge of the control circle and build a large, fortified FOB. Then place multiple drills, with players often running around five, and space them apart so one artillery strike cannot wipe them all. The drills pull the Hot Zone to your position, so you defend a single fortified point with mortars, anti-air like the CIWS, and rocket emplacements instead of fighting across the map for towers.

Worth knowing

It has been called completely broken, but the players running it said it only stomped because the enemy teams were disorganized, with no artillery and no coordinated push. In their words, it will not be that simple once people learn the game. Treat the Super FOB as strong and worth building, not as a guaranteed win.

How to counter a Super FOB

  • Artillery and mortars out-range it. The drills are spaced out, so focus your fire and take them down one at a time.
  • Coordinated attack helicopters can pressure it from the air before its anti-air is finished.
  • Contest the towers yourself to pull the Hot Zone back off their base.
